It’s 24 hours fever-free and you know it.

And guess what? Your child doesn’t miraculously feel better because the fever is down. So you’re comfortable sending your miserable kid to school?

Then I have to stop teaching and tend to your child. And I can’t tell you how bad I feel for the children who are pushed at the school still actively sick. They are miserable and they aren’t learning.

The nurse gets involved, we call home, and often the parent takes a long time to come. If they come at all. [/quote]
