Cuomo remains ine of Democrats’ favorite Covid heroes.  The results weren’t oerfect, but the daily briefings were very butch.  Much more manly ans inspiring that Trump/Fauci/Birx.  A lot of non-New-Yorkers watched Cuomo’s covid briefings.[/quote]
I lived in upstate N.Y. 2020-2023.  By Fall 2020 New Yorkers were tiring of his verbose, self inflating briefings.  Then came the revelations about nursing home deaths and his sexual harassment (and lying).  He was extremely unpopular even in my “blue” town.[/quote]

Yes, but once Biden was inaugurated, Democrats got REALLY into Covid protocols.  Non-New-Yorker Democrats today look back on Cuomo’s Covid leadership much more fondly than they did in 2020.  Swing voters mostly are NOT conspiracy theorists.  So they prefer Covid enthusiasts, maskers, vaxers, etc to Covid skeptics.[/quote]
