We aim for state schools. [/quote] A lot of VA famiies send their kids to out-of-state schools and privates, but it's great to know that there are better state options than in MD. UMD is a solid school but if your kids grow up in the DC area it's unattractive to many kids both because it's so close and it's located in one of the ugliest parts of the DC region. [/quote]
