I was so worried before by kid went to middle school because of the early start time (thanks, dcum) and my kid was at an ES with a late start time (9:20), but it was perfectly fine. Middle school was fun because of the after school programs and clubs. The middle school teachers were amazing and caring and he didn’t care about waking up early. On the days he didn’t stay after school, he came home and took a nap and got caught up on schoolwork.
