I'm not the PP you are responding to you but years ago (20?) the attributes you list were associated with the Republican party but now those attributes are not part of their dialogue or what most voters think of when you say Republican. I think that the Dems now own "hard work" and even "small business" as Republicans are primarily associated with large corporate interests that have hurt or been in opposition to small business owners. I think Reps have also lost the "freedom of religion" as they appear to only pushing their own evangelical religion. Family values has completely been left on the platform and its more of a religious based anti abortion and anti gay message. [/quote]
