Shockingly, I think this is true. The latest poll I saw should trump with a 53% approval rating. I couldn't believe it! I think until his moves affect the average American, most people do support the crap he's doing. They voted for him to shake things up and that's what they see.

Here in the DMV we feel his wrath because of federal jobs and contracts, but the vast majority of the US doesn't. I think until something major happens- social security payments are delayed or Medicare payments to hospitals are disrupted because 20 year olds are using AI to mess with complex systems- most Americans, including the Rs in congress, will turn a blind eye[/quote]

The question is are the red states actually feeling the pain of current actions.

I know the junior senator from Alabama is kind of going nuts over the cut to NIH funding because UAB and UAB Birmingham really, really need that money and they are big employers.
