5'4" and 105 pounds. I am a runner and in pretty good shape, but I've also had several kids and am in my late 40s. So I look like a middle-aged woman in pretty good shape but with a bit of extra padding around the hips and thighs. I am not unusually tiny. In vintage clothes, I am a solid size 4. Now, however, I have a very hard time finding clothes in my size. Ann Taylor Loft for instance, makes a 00 petite that is easily 1 inch too big at the waist for me. You'd think I could use a tailor, but the hips are too big most of the time, also, and that's too much tailoring for my budget. These days I scour websites for girls' clothing that can pass as semi-professional. (Fortunately, I can dress informally for work.)
I weight 10 lbs more than you but encountered the same problem. I rarely buy US sizes anymore and buy mostly European brands. Clothes are more expensive but it's nice to have items that fit off of the rack. Also, the quality tends to be higher so I can get a lot of wear out of clothes.
