I have this too. I am terrible with remembering names, but I can remember details about conversations, where they took place, and if a meal was involved, exactly what I and sometimes everyone was eating while we had the conversation. And I have found that people find it is odd if I meet them again several years later, confess that I can’t recall their name, but can say something like remember that dinner we had in Toronto where you mentioned that awesome new stereo system you had just installed?

My other weird talent is timing of cooking many different and often complex dishes so that they are all ready at the correct time, even if I have added new things to the menu. I do entertain a lot, and due to various dietary preferences and restrictions, meals may include 2-3 entrees and suitable sides for as many as 15-20 people.[/quote]

OMG my son has the foid/memory talent. It’s a running family joke that every time he shares a family memory he throws in some extraneous detail about what he was eating.[/quote]
