Also, test optional sounds much less serious to me than most[/quote] Perhaps I should say that a) everything he did for school and EC came from a genuine inherent desire and had zero to do with thinking about if it would help him with college. That came through clearly in his essays. And b) college counseling office was clear that with the grades and EC, testing couldn’t help or hurt him. So why stress? They were right. [/quote]
