I would never wait in the car line for an hour, or even 15 min. I’d rather stay home and bake blueberry muffins and roll in a few minutes past dismissal. If I’m not home and am between errands, I read in a coffee shop until it’s time for dismissal. My kids also have activities immediately following school and we are able to get there on time.
