Maryland is solidly blue, but it’s not a terribly progressive state, more moderate Democrats.  It will be interesting to see how many of them will vote for Hogan out of protest since they already know that the state will go to Harris.  It reminds me of how the polls failed to really capture Trump support in 2016.[/quote]

The gap to Harris is embarrassing for her. Can’t even blame it on racism and sexism. What it is is that a lot of people in Maryland actually know what she’s about who got overwhelmed by the straight party line general election voters. [/quote]

Harris was also a pretty bad candidate put in a pretty bad spot. This is a really poor showing for Alsobrooks. She's practically begging for a primary challenger in 30. [/quote]
No one will primary her because she’s a Black woman. Maryland is going to be stuck with this below replacement level Senator for 30 years.[/quote]
