I would think almost all.  Many are D3 -- they are not leaving.  And many others are there for the school not the soccer.  You are not leaving an Ivy or Vandy even if soccer is not working out.[/quote]

You don't have to leave. If you are a student in good standing  you may stay. You simply may not be playing a sport under scholarship for the university anymore.  It isn't unheard of for student athletes to quit their sport and still be a student who pays their own way or qualifies for academic scholarships, etc.[/quote]
