We’re of Lebanese descent (some of us are Christian, some of us our Muslim). In my family, most of us voted for Stein. None of us expect Republicans to care about Arab lives, but I think most of us expect Democrats to care. Not voting for Harris was a punishment for the Democratic Party to show that Arab voices matter.
Why can’t OP and others grasp this? They seem determined to put some religious or misogynist spin on the issue. -upthread poster
Voting for Stein is a vote for Trump. This was cutting off their nose to spite their face. “Harris didn’t do enough for me personally, so I’ll vote for the guy who banned us?” WTH kind of logic is that?
The vote for stein did not hat it was intended to do. It got your attention. THAT represent me a victory of its own. Sorry, but you can’t treat your supporters like children who should be seen (to get votes) but not heard. This as the story of the election.
It really isn’t the story of the election. Either Trump or Harris was going to win. No party can win by catering to a small segment of the population that has a specific foreign policy demand. War sucks and what’s going on there is horrendous but all they did was throw a temper tantrum and ultimately hurt themselves, their current country, and millions of Americans.
It is the story of the election because it was more than the Arab and Muslim Americans being ignored. Elections are all about winning on the margins.
Nope. You cannot please everyone all the time. This is so childish. Same goes for ALL Stein and non-voters. They likely will never have a chance to vote again. They voted for a dictator. They voted to hurt millions of Americans and tear down democracy.
This is such BS and people know it.
Everyone who reads history and understands political theory knows I’m right. You are either a troll with bad intentions, or an ignorant tool who succumbed to the con.
Didn’t support Trump. See you at the polls in 4 years.
