You’re literally describing the work that is done to keep a home running.  Sure, the chores are different now, but do you really think the majority or SAHMs literally do nothing other than take care of the kids?  For some reason we moved to SAHM as the go-to term instead of housewife, but nothing has changed in terms of the job function.[/quote]
