I don't think I'm any better than our house cleaners, and I don't expect them to clean gross stuff. I also make sure there's no hair in the shower drains, the sinks aren't disgusting, etc. I don't vacuum but the whole house is picked up so that they don't have to move things to clean other than items that sit out (for example books on a shelf that they dust).
