The minor can't be named by the police. The first amendment would protect a news organization who named him. Honestly, I kind of respect the kid. He's found a fun hobby based on a loophole in MD law. [/quote]

Knowingly or unknowingly, he has found a loophole.  If he understands the law, he will quit for good on the day before his 13th birthday.  If he doesn’t quit, his life will change a lot once he turns 13.  Do we really anticipate that other 11 and 12-year olds will emulate him and push the law to the absolute limit like he has?  Or is he sui generis?[/quote]
