I like Harris. The more I learn about her, the more I like. I was focused on other candidates during the 2020 primaries, and Vice Presidents are generally invisible. I'm pleasantly surprised. I like Harris. She's smart, she's competent. She's already held high office and she understands how government works. I thought her DNC speech was great. She seems to be pretty level-headed and knows how to laugh. She's not cruel, doesn't make fun of the disabled, isn't a racist, and notably, is not insane. What's not to like.

I am formally over the idea that the President needs to be some miraculous changemaker type. Kamala Harris will make incremental changes for the better and keep America on a stable path. If she can get reproductive rights through Congress and some mild gun control I'll be pretty happy.[/quote]
