When I read some of you saying you find moles on other people "gross" and "distracting" I view that entirely as a you problem. Maybe you should treat your OCD and control issues instead if expecting everyone with moles to have them surgically removed. I have never noticed Lively's mole before and now that it's brought to my attention I think it suits her and is part of her beauty.
I agree. My child's mole is fine, it's been checked out by docs, if you don't like it, that's a YOU problem. Get over it, judgmental jerks.
OK now, but moles grow.
and as I said, if they actually grow, you get it checked by a doc for possible cancer this isn't that hard. Remove them if you wish, but they aren't hurting anyone else.
Sure, but we were talking about moles being beautiful. They can be cute on a child, but once they start growing, there's nothing pretty about them. Sorry.
No I am sorry that you are so uneducated. Not all moles grow. The vast majority of moles are benign and will look the same you're entire life. I have hundred of moles on my body and 99.9999% of them never change. The few that do I get removed. 0% of my moles are your business though.
You have hundred of moles on your body and they are not my business?! Um...ok, thanks for sharing on a public forum, enjoy them.
You seem very dumb. Lots of healthy, normal people have moles all over their bodies. Look up Kenneth Rooks who just won a silver at the Olympics in 3000m steeple chase. His back is covered in moles just like lots of people. Being horrified or disgusted by this is no different than thinking dark skin is ugly or that someone's crooked teeth are your business to weigh in on. The PP who said Nazi earlier was actually not far off (and I do NOT throw that word around lightly).
Right, one must be dumb and a Nazi if they don't want more moles on their face and body
Moles are not contagious. If you want to remove moles on your body no one cares. Wanting to force other people to remove moles on their bodies because you find them "icky" is actually in line with the way Nazis thought about people and "purity." Like ask yourself what it is about moles that bothers you. Is it that they are dark marks? That they disrupt otherwise "pure" skin? Do you think moles are signs of disease? That every mole is cancer? That people with moles must be dirty? Sorry that I refuse to accept your weird obsession with other people's bodies as normal and fine.
There's more than one person you're responding to (surprise!). I'm the one who simply doesn't find them beautiful. You need to calm down.
I think the people who need to calm down are those who are so delicate that the sight of a mole (something almost everyone has) freaks them out. Actually now I'm wondering if people don't know the difference between moles and warts. Because the idea that a mole is upsetting or disgusting makes so little sense -- they are so commonplace. Like I can think of dozens of celebrities with facial moles and I would be surprised to meet someone with no moles at all. So maybe people just think warts are a kind of mole. I do agree that if you have warts you should have them removed. I would definitely have a wart removed if I got one.
