The outreach provided to parents at my child's school is tremendous. They're kind of a NO EXCEPTIONS group in this regard. In our school's case it's nuts, certain seeds, and some fruits. NO no no. Not allowed. The food will be discarded if it is discovered. Persionally, I got a call and a note about some hummous that my daughter had brought to school. I had just forgotten.
