Nope.   My kid with these stats, ECs, also Calc BC in 10th etc was waitlisted at NEU (EA) and Cornell (RD).  Also as Case.  So none of those are likely.  CS major though, which made things tougher.

From your criteria some possibilities:   GWU, Drexel, Fordham?     Would help to know major.  [/quote]
Can your kid write? Seriously, writing skills are one of the most important parts of the application and why we rushed our DC into creative writing even though they are a “STEM” student.

Yes.  Got a 5 on AP language.  Also A in college writing class.  There is always a response like this whenever I post my kids experience.   This is not an uncommon result FYI.  [/quote]
A 5 on Ap Language is very easy. It just requires knowing the rubric and writing as much as possible. It is the most gamed AP course.

College writing class has no actual control for quality. For all intents and purposes, there is little reason to believe that your kid can write well at all. [/quote]

Because it makes parents feel better to assume there is something wrong with any kid with these kind of admission results.  And of course wont happen to their kid.

This is unfortunately the admissions landscape today that high stats students can get locked out of ivys AND yield protected from next tier down.   Thank goodness for state schools that are both affordable and not playing games. [/quote]
