UVA in state? He should apply. My kid got in EA and had slightly lower SAT (but over 1500) and the MV calc and ECs and APs blah blah blah. Got in EA.  Didn’t get in all reach schools. Who knows why. Got lots of merit offers at other schools. [/quote]
