The scene where Kelli yelled at Klein for asking about an ornament though. Kelli is unprofessional. Who publicly humiliates their employees? Texas culture is so toxic.
Honestly I think that was a miscommunication. Kelli was hot because she felt she was witnessing Klein publicly humiliating a colleague who spent her weekend off doing something nice for the girls (putting up a tree in the locker room and adding a personalized ornament for each girl) by whining/complaining about not having an ornament on the tree. To be fair— Kelli’s reaction was in defense of that colleague/employee. Like “how about you come in and say ‘what a lovely tree! Thanks so much for doing this!’ instead of ‘where’s MY ornament?!?!’” But Klein didn’t mean it that way. I think she *did* apprecythe tree. And she actually seemed genuinely giddy about the tree and was excited to find the ornament with her name on it…and then when she couldn’t find it and was sort of in excited-kid-like mode when she expressed not being able to find it” It just came out all wrong, unfortunately. And framed from Kelli’s viewpoint, she seemed like a spoiled ungrateful child, so Kelli called her out on the spot.
Finally finished up and saw this episode. That wasn't miscommunication. That was displaced aggression because she was pissed 10 cheerleaders didn't write a letter to the bus driver who had a stroke. It was horribly unprofessional. Kelli's "clarifications" should have been done to the whole group and not in private. You call someone out in public (which is wrong in most cases and definitely in this case), then you make that same clarification in public for everyone to see. (It's like that TikTok going around where a woman is like why do you want to take this conversation about Veronica offline when you were willing to call me out in front of the whole team). She handled that so wrong. I admire her directness, but this was just her being angry about the other stuff and humiliated this girl. If they don't want them to get excited about seeing their personalized ornaments on there, why do personalized ornaments then?
