All our money isn’t tied up in our Arlington $hit shack. Here’s the BEST part, I can easily sell my 2.7 million dollar house and move to McLean. [/quote] Wheaton and Glenmont have been poorer and meh for decades, define decline? Downtown has plateaued in terms of silver sprung but it is still leap years ahead of where it was in the 80s so that is progress. As Langley Park’s poverty spreads down Colesville though the Wyane, flower and Thayer Aves one might ask will inner SS hold onto the upper middle class it gained over the last 20 years when they were priced out of nicer areas to the west? Where else are the going to go? Columbia or PG…. Not a lot of them, those areas for the most part are for those priced out of silver spring.[/quote]
