KCC is definitely not begging for members - I’m surprised how many new members that have gained during the pandemic. It is a great family club, not as pretentious as other clubs. Tennis and golf are big draws, and tge swim program is perennially very strong and a lot of fun. Food ranges from ok to actually quite good. The fitness center and indoor pool are fantastic. The new bar is great. The club is privately owned, which is why upgrades can be slow to happen - but they do seem to eventually happen. We belong to KCC and another local club (though that is ending), and the kids prefer to do things at KCC.
BS they are begging. And facilities are very old, basically a dump. Golf is fine. OP it's fine if you like Lots of MAGA. Lots of anti semitism.
Fitness center/indoor pool is the nicest of any club around. Clubhouse is old and small but traditional. Has what you need plus a fun bowling alley. Golf course is great, it's no Congressional but we all know that. The vibe of the club is so much less stuffy and much more laid back. They are building an addition to their fitness center with squash, basketball court, golf simulators, paddle tennis, etc. If you live in 20816/20815/20016 there isn't a better option out there. My biggest compalints are the small driving range and outdated golf lockers.
