It's a gigantic country that wants cheap labor. Republicans make a lot of noise, but you'll notice that no Republican is advocating for the arrest of business owners that hire illegal migrants, which would be the quickest way to end the mayhem on the border. Europe is a little more complicated. There's a colonial history, which is a big factor in countries like France. And many of the boomer politicians have a kind of kumbaya progressivism that disregards cultural differences. And as it turns out, Arabs don't seem to have the same values as Swedes. Violent crime is now a problem in Malmo and Stockholm. Generally, Europeans are realizing that things aren't working in regards to immigration. The problem is that some of the right wing parties come with a lot of extra garbage. [/quote]
