Agree. Covid really pushed this forward.  It was pretty clear to any thinking person that it was highly likely that a worldwide pandemic that emerged from a city where there was a lab studying that exact family of viruses originated from a lab leak.

I think we all agree racism is bad, but so is hiding the truth about the origins of the virus. As is calling people racist for speaking truthfully about it.  This is why people no longer trust the mainstream media.  They care more about the right PR than the truth.  [/quote]

That goes to op’s point though.  Op and others posit that this “post-truth” era impacts only the right, when it’s clearly an issue on both sides of the aisle.  We can’t trust our media sources to provide unbiased reporting.  They don’t care about facts or truth, they care about the messaging they’re meant to provide.  That’s true for both Fox News and the New York Times.  [/quote]
