Guys. THIS.
"This" what? You think the TSA conspired with Joe Biden to set up two completely random idiots in Turks & Caicos?
It’s ok to bring bullets in your checked luggage, isn’t it? It’s not TSA’s job to know if that’s allowed on the country you’re traveling to. It’s yours. Personal responsibility.
Hold up.. we can have bullets in our luggage? We can fly with bullets? Seriously?
Bullets are harmless without a gun.
No they are not specially loose rounds.
No that is a myth, this may exceed your intellectual capacity, but here goes... If you are somehow able to set off a loose round the majority of the chemical energy will be expelled into the large environment that contains the loose bullet, like a room or a bag or whatever. The energy will not propel the bullet like you see with a gun. Worst case a burn, very unlikely to ignite the environment, unless extremely flamible. So bottom line- you need the gun.
You really have no experience with ammo. I have seen rounds(specially loose rounds) cook off, fire when the cap hit, go off in the dryer, etc. Guess what? The rounds go through walls, suitcases, dryers, etc.
OK firefighter shot in face by loose rounds during a house fire: https://www.firehouse.com/operations-training/news/21110067/tulsa-ok-firefighter-shot-by-ammo-set-off-in-house-fire Ammunition disposal business explodes after fire begins, with bullets discharging on the scene: https://abc13.com/montgomery-county-fire-admonition-sparks-flames-warehouse-honea-egypt-rd/13887410/
clearly you did not read any of the comments in the posted article from Tulsa - had they been in the gun the firefighter would have been shot and likely killed, Try again. Second article - you have no idea the state of the ammunition. Rounds just don't explode, even modern smokeless powder does not explode, well unless it is in a gun. Try again.
