As people’s values get more extreme they are more likely to have authoritarian leanings. It happens both on the left and on the right.

It's amazing how you know me since I'm a moderate and vehemently reject DEI and "woke" initiatives on the left, many of which are now being dropped at universities because folks like me in the middle don't support mandatory statements like that. However, I'd love to hear you answer the question about why only four of Trump's 44 most senior cabinet members support his reelection? Please enlighten us how you rationalize this. I am not saying Trump is great or good. Just saying Progressives are just as bad. Also, I am not telling anyone to abstain from voting, vote for who you want. [/quote]

You have to be able to separate the American people from our awful political institutions and politicians. Trump- terrible, Biden- bad, 95% of the American people including "progressives"- good. [/quote]
