Do you think the aid out there covers all life circumstances? [/quote] That's not about access. That's about choosing not to go to college. That 19 year old would be better off to take a Pell Grant and borrow the remaining entire cost of the local state university, including living expenses, and work a part-time job. In most cases, the amount of money to live on for the family would be the about the same. I know people who bought 1 class at a time. I know people who didn't start until they were 25. I know people who went in the military and the military paid for their classes while they were still in. There are lots of ways to do it. [/quote]
