I know. I'm from same culture but never would've agreed to such arrangement. I don't have any issues with arranged marriage as its similar as friends/app/matchmaker setting you up on a blind date, after that take enough time to date to get to know each other before you agree to get engaged and then live together and plan for marriage. However, my friend was very focused on career and just wanted a prevetted partner with similar experiences and goals. They just got lucky it worked so well.[/quote]
