OP- your baby’s crying sounds like a fighter jet to you. To others, it sounds like a kitten. A newborn crying is not as loud as you think. Toddlers? Different story, but a newborn sounds like a teeny critter.
Know it all who doesn't know shite.
Op My baby sounds like this: https://youtu.be/_AUtYTaYMrE?si=GZjKj7o_Tx3_kp8R Only worse, because I can't turn him off like a YouTube video. And he's cuter than the baby in that video in my opinion. He's wearing cuter pajamas.
OP I am glad you are retaining your sense of humor. I could not. Im the PP who had a daycare provider of 20 years say she was no longer able to care for him while our ped brushed me off and another ped in the office said reflux wasnt real i was just a FTM who didnt understand that babies cry and to get assessed for anxiety/depression. Yes, I am anxious and depressed because my child cries constantly but thanks! I went to specialists after that (GI and ENT) and only took my kid to the ped for well visits. The ENT did a scope and he had laryngomalacia (stopped breathing twice and thats what got me to finally say f u to the peds) and visible damage from reflux. We did weight dependent dosing of meds through year 1. GI said to continue breastfeeding if I could remove all dairy, which I did for 2.5 years. He did not react to soy but many babies in groups that I was in also had issues with soy and eggs. Since you are using formula, the latter isnt an issue but it was for some breastfeeding moms. He still does not tolerate milk at age 6. Will likely never grow out of it. But its not an allergy. Bodies are weird.
