We are the family of immigrants. We do not eat fast food, food high in sugar at home and do not drink ANY sugary drinks. Water, milk and tea only. Sometimes my kids will get a hamburger at a restaurant, but not often. All of us are very healthy weight.
Oh calm down immigrant. Plenty of American eat like this as well. I’m a third generation American (great grandparents from Germany) and grandparents cooked at home and did not allow sugar, I was raised much the same.
Most immigrant food is high in carbs, fat and salt. Aldo not many vegetables.
+1 Taco trucks, bao, noodle places, dumplings, Indian take away, cava, kabobs, gyros, cubans, pasty, bratwurst, cheese croissants... I can think of fast food from nearly every where! Which country lacks a fast food option here - investment opportunity! Immigrants don't eat fast food--- bah!
