This sums it up rather succinctly.  The success, or lack thereof, in the GA for at least next year hinges almost entirely on the ability of the FCV coaches who are now at Revolution to convince as many of their former players as possible to move over there.  Fortune may have just smiled on them with the announcement of Fairfax Virginia Union because a decent number of former ECNL players will be looking for new homes when that dust settles.  Failing that, their next best option is some combination of FCV United team players and/or players from other clubs RL teams, etc.  If none of that works out and they have to field a GA team comprised mostly of their own existing players, it’s going be a tough year next year.  But there are plenty of players and parents chasing an ECNL or GA badge so I can’t see the worst case coming to fruition.[/quote]
