Striving for what it is not? What is that? A highly selective institution that 30 years ago BU students looked down on it? But now they attract a stronger student? Guess continual improvement is not something you are too keen on. Meow.
What’s sad is that Northeastern has always had a distinctive niche on the Boston higher education landscape—its convenient urban location & co-op programs make it unique. They should have just been content with maximizing those features instead of striving to be something it’s not.

Funny, there are multiple posters on this thread who are pro NEU, because they have first hand familiarity with it, but the anti NEU posters get offended and over the top ("diarrhea??" really??) and accusatory, while trying to make the pro NEU people (plural) one imaginary person (singular). News flash: not every thread has to be turned by the anti NEU posters into an anti NEU thread. The anti NEU posters are proving without a doubt why they were not accepted to NEU. The pro NEU posters will continue to defend against the anti NEU posters false claims, understandably. There are few if any other schools who have the volume of anti (school) posts on this board.
Triggered again PP? Yawn, NEU is so boring.
