We are blessed to be able to throw $30-$45 at pizza delivery every once in a while, so we do. Last week it was a night that we both worked until 6 (at home) and were tired and had been cooking all week, and this week it was last night, when we were also working a lot and the kid was sick and I (the main cook) had a huge day the next day.

I almost always have lots of salad stuff on hand. So if I am exhausted and DH is still working and our kid is hungry, I'd much rather order a pizza, make a salad, and have it show up in 20 minutes than start an hour long project. And I like to cook a lot!

We are all very healthy and active with perfect BMIs and 2 pieces of pizza for the adults (sometimes 1 for me) + a huge salad and however much pizza the teen wants + a huge salad is not going to hurt anyone. We do not get meat or extra cheese, and often get thin crust (which I can not replicate at home).[/b] [/quote]

No almonds, but always green beans on the side with pizza. Long-time DCUMers know what I'm talking about.
