I immigrated 30 years back and now a citizen. I am not politically savvy or active but like most immigrants always voted Democrat because they were more supportive of immigrants. But with the open border I am now starting to question the Democrat party. Why on earth are they allowing mass illegal migration through open borders which is a major major security threat to the country. As I am thinking to vote for Republicans, I see so much hate for Trump. When Trump was President, it was same like the earlier 20 years for me except there were no wars. So what is wrong with Trump that is not the case with Democrat nominees? If it is his moral character then there are Democrat Presidents who have also been immoral. So I am ruling that out. Is it because he talks brash? That’s the only thing I can think of. Please explain and keep it simple. Why you hate Trump?
30 years here in America and you’re still playing dumb and using right wing talking points? Weird.
I am also an immigrant and I don’t feel comfortable when democrats begin calling names ( dumb) any time you start questioning them.
If you regurgitate MAGA talking points then why are you upset if someone calls you out on it?
I am not upset ( dont project your own feelings); name calling is expected from the democrats. Not enough intelligence to debate the issue without resorting to name calling.
DP - this is ridiculous and patently untrue. Republicans don’t argue on substantive talking points but fear monger over Contrived culture war issues such as transgender bathrooms/ DEI plus weaponization of illegal immigration (all while blocking Democratic efforts to combat it). The Republicans follow a man who has lied over 30 k times especially about election fraud even though dozens of courts found no evidence to support his ludicrous claims. Republicans follow a man who lies about his mediocre economic performance (economy growing much faster in Biden as it did under Obama and the Democrats averted economic recession. Republicans follow a man who faces > 90 criminal indictments, is backed by war criminal Putin, has been impeached twice (singular achievement), cannot string a coherent sentence together whichbis the real reason he was too cowardly to engage in presidential candidate debates and who presided over downgrading of US democracy three times so that it is now considered a partial democracy.
