No, its a Middle school with about 800 students.

And as a different PP mentioned, they are actually required to use their lockers (not their PE ones, though).  No backpacks in the classroom is the policy.  So kids don't go to the locker between every class, but they probably go 3-4 times a day.  [/quote]

I'd also be surprised if there is really space and time at your kid's school for every student to stand in front of their lockers to change shoes at the end of the day and still make it out on time to catch the school bus.[/quote]

Lady you have lost what few marbles you had to begin with.  NO an entire county's bus schedule can't be adjusted across the board.  Just so Johnny has time to take his boots off and socialize (and potentially fight as you previously mentioned) with his peers.  You have gone off the deep end. Why can the bus schedule not be revised?  Because it would inconvenience some adults?  Or because the adults in charge are lazy and/or completely incompetent?
