I always wear boots outdoors when it is raining, snowing, icy, and/or slushy.  I keep a pair of shoes at my office.  It takes less than one minute to change shoes.  This is not only for my own personal safety, comfort, and hygiene.  It benefits everyone who shares the office to not have water, slush, and mud tracked all over the floors.

That’s nice.  I’m a hs teacher and try not to even wear a coat to work because the only place I have to put it us the back of the desk chair and I have to share that with others who use the room.  We don’t have a dedicated desk.  No, there isn’t room anywhere for extra shoes or boots when we don’t even have a place to hang coats.  [/quote]
