Is the AP-level science you're referencing the IB science classes listed here? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D4DTO5FaM8pcZoRLvlyOIqLuLoy0hL_ZrgxeRNcIpfg/edit?usp%253Dsharing%26amp;sa%3DD%26amp;source%3Deditors%26amp;ust%3D1699037006502563%26amp;usg%3DAOvVaw08yXqYvTkgJ2NtKbAGGXxS&sa=D&source=docs&ust=1699037006556790&usg=AOvVaw0Ul3yx37Oqfxb3AzoPKNQy They don't offer AP Physics as an option for freshmen, for example, while that seems to be an option at Blair, Wheaton, and Northwood. They also have a limited number of CompSci classes, and no engineering classes.
They have a 2-year IB Physics sequence. No, it’s not for freshmen, which seems right to me. It’s true that they don’t have engineering classes. If that’s an important criterion then choose elsewhere I guess. My understanding for applicants to engineering in college is that math and science preparation are more important than high school engineering classes.
