It’s radically left and woke. The town is boring. It’s an extremely non traditional college experience.
Cool. Enjoy your "education" at Liberty. LOL.
Well they’re not wrong…
If by "woke" you mean that Wellesley as a community advocates for the human/civil rights of women and LGBTQ folks, well then I guess you are correct, although I'd say that anyone with anti-feminist and/or anti-gay views is pretty retrograde. The suburb of Wellesley may not be the most exciting place on the face of the planet, but it serves its purpose well enough which is to say that it has a nice independent bookstore, a Starbucks, J.P Licks, a café and a few other affordable eateries within walking distance of the campus when students need a break from their studies during the week: most Wellesley students feel that the College offers the best of both worlds in that they have easy access to the cultural wealth and professional opportunities of Boston and Cambridge but also get to enjoy the campus' natural beauty. However, except for the fact that Wellesley is predominantly all-women--the school always has exchange students, many of whom are male--the school's day-to-day campus life isn't all that different from what it is at any other rigorous U.S. college/university.
