Justice is a better name over some guy that no one ever heard of other than a school was named after him. That was an upgrade. The others less so.

It’s generic.  Schools get named “Freedom,” “Liberty,” and “Independence,” so why not “Justice”?

The real issue is that Stuart HS was one of the best high schools in the county for about 20 years (1960s and 70s), and Justice HS will probably always be one of the worst.[/quote]

Maybe because they wasted over $1,000,000 making the change, and countless school board hours arguing over it?

Ordinarily, that would be a scandal worthy of calling for them all to resign.

But, in Justice’s case, they wasted this time and money at the beginning of the Covid crisis, instead of focusing on the major issue:  Covid and how to try to prevent learning loss.

No surprise the learning loss was as bad as it was; the progressive school-board was completely checked-out on the issue for months.

In 2023, they clearly have not learned anything from their mistakes.  Time to replace them all.[/quote]
