People around here really can't complain about the huge jumps in property taxes over the past 2 years and the ridiculous car taxes, when they keep voting blue no matter who.  Far left politicians with no moderates elected are going to put in place far left policies.

Your taxes are so high because the board of supervisors is doing stuff like starting a universal income program for certain zip codes only in Fairfax County, with strings free monthly payments.

False information. Property tax rates have not increased in the last two years. If the amount you're paying has changed, that's because of the change in your property values.

Also, to everyone complaining about car taxes - remember 20 years ago when Republicans tried to end the car tax? They started to phase it out then created a massive budget shortfall that underfunded our schools and colleges and had to reverse course. [/quote]
