I'm ok with blaming the Baltimore PD for their inadequate actions before and inadequate response after the shooting.  This is basic serve-and-protect stuff. It also demonstrates, yet again, how poor/non-white communities are simultaneously underpoliced and overpoliced.[/quote]

Posters ask about careers and educational opportunities all the time, and you know it. Many of them also denigrate police officers and share their wisdom about dealing with criminals and violent, unstable people -- but they don't want to do it themselves or have their family members do that job.
