While he may not be legally required to register as a sex offender, he was still found by a jury of his peers to be a rapist. The article doesn't explain why most republicans support a rapist to be the next POTUS.
If you read the article, it explained the difference between being convicted or liable in a criminal vs civil case. He was only found liable in a civil case, unfortunately that's not the same as being found guilty in a criminal case.
DP. Come on now. OJ Simpson was found not guilty in a criminal case but found guilty for the same crime in a civil case. We all know he was guilty, even though the he did not ultimately face criminal charges.
DP. No WE did not all know he was guilty and if I was on that jury I would still find him not guilty based on the evidence presented at trial. And no Trump was not found guilty in the civil trial. There is no guilt or innocence in civil trial it’s negligence or liable or not negligent or liable. Also the burdens of proof are different in the two differ t courts. Therefore it’s possible that although Trump was found to be liable by a preponderance of the evidence, the same jury could have found him not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
