A lot of new homes have them too now, it's not new.  Also, because our area is not HOA, anyone can have them, and some people who have the funds for perfect lawns also choose to have natural pesticide free lawns.  I was surprised how many newer homes and even new construction homes are having at least a path of wild flowers. [/quote]
