These are the same people who only care about the upper school if it gets their kid into a college they deem worthy. They don’t care about education; they care about status/the bumper sticker they can put on their car.[/quote]

+100. The irony is that these people are too short-sighted to see that if their kids are happy in high school, their chances of getting into top colleges are actually higher. They fixate on the wrong things. Please send your kid to a high school that wants them and will make them happy. The rest will take care of itself. [/quote]
