”Britney Spears "accidentally hit herself in the face" during an incident with the bodyguard of NBA star Victor Wembanyama, Las Vegas police have confirmed.” 🤦♀️ https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/us-celebrity-news/breaking-britney-spears-accidentally-hit-30417088
So much for being 'backhanded'. "Addressing the security footage, police said: "Detectives were able to review the surveillance footage of the event which showed Britney going to tap the Spurs player on the shoulder. "When she touched the player [Wembanyama's bodyguard] pushes her hand off the player without looking which causes Britney's hand to hit herself in the face." Detectives concluded: "Due to the fact that [Wembanyama's bodyguard] did not wilfully or unlawfully use any force or violence upon Britney and probable cause did not exist, an arrest was not made and citation was not given."
The tape is a bad angle. Several witnesses disagree. I saw witness testify on TMZ the bodyguard slapped her hand into her face.
While there may be better angles, it's clear that Britney ran up behind the victim, did not touch him on the shoulder like she claimed and was not hit by the bodyguard hard enough to nearly make her fall. You can't even see if her glasses were knocked off. I'm assuming the two guys right next to her were her body guards. Why didn't they prevent her from putting herself in a position where she could/would be viewed as an assailant? She looked pretty pathetic running after Victor - just like any other fanatic that disregards boundaries. https://www.tmz.com/
