So, how is it meaningful or relevant to refer to "lily white" schools when no "lily white" DCPS or PCS schools exist in the district, or to talk about it being "acceptable" for said "lily whites" to be calling an AA student the "n" word when it is absolutely *not* acceptable to do so in any school in the district? It is really not useful, helpful, or productive to keep trying to cast the here and now of DC 2012 as the racially segregated America of decades gone by.[/quote]
