Unfortunately, after the sample dose ran out, we found that our BCBS FEP standard would not cover Mounjaro for weight loss. So I did a little research. BCBS FEP will only cover Mounjaro and Ozempic for T2DM or prediabetes, not for weight loss. However, it will cover Wegovy, and Rybelsus (oral version of semaglutide) plus several others, for weight loss.
