Slamming on the brakes could have caused an accident. We paid the first one, since it was the first time, but getting the second one right after it really peaked my suspicion and I found this thread.

They have not ramped up the program.  They are on all the buses and have been for a couple years now.

Try to stop for the yellow lights, and don't try to guess when the lights turn red.

Not judging.  It's only by sheer luck I haven't gotten one.  But I focus on the yellow lights.  That provides more time to stop.   It's better to stop or slow when you don't need to than to get a ticket (or worse hit a kid).[/quote]
